Max here. My legs are apparently delicious for japanese mosquitoes... I am currently sporting a not so nice collection of bites from our trip to the bamboo garden. *Scratch scratch*
In other news, the conference is going well. Today was the first full day, and the theme was apparently "Apes are smarter than you think! (And maybe, smarter than you!)". We saw more videos of apes and monkeys doing cute social things than we had ever seen before, all together. Really amazing stuff.
Right now it is raining pretty heavily, so we ducked inside to drop off gear and are about to head out to do a bit of shopping and foraging.
I'll try to get some more pictures up soon :)
