first post

I don't really expect to keep up with this whole blog thing, but I figured I'd set up a place where I might post notes & pictures of my first adventure away from the protective bubble of the US / North America. (I've never left the continental US except one day in Ensenada, Mexico, and a week in Hawaii... Catalina still counts as continental US, right?) Anyway, Max & I will try to post regular notes for anyone who might be worried or curious to check up on us.
